Lebanon the Model

Michael Totten argues that Lebanon is the model for Democracy in the Middle east, not Iraq.  He makes a good argument too, that if Iraq does get out of this crazy democratic birth period and develops a self sustaining, working democracy without the presence of U.S. troops, it will be the 2^nd successful democracy in the middle east, not the first.
